What is remote online notarization?
Remote online notarization (RON) lets you sign documents in front of a commissioned notary over secure video. Nevada, Illinois, Texas, Florida, and 40+ other states accept these notarizations, and the resulting PDF is legally equivalent to an in-person notarization.
Can you notarize signers in any state?
Yes. As a Remote Online Notary commissioned in Nevada, Illinois, Texas, and Florida, we can notarize documents for signers located anywhere in the United States, provided the receiving party accepts RON. Most banks, lenders, courts, and government agencies do.
How much does a notary cost?
Notary fees are set by state law. Nevada caps the first signature at $15 with each additional signature at $7.50. Illinois caps notarial acts at $5. Texas caps at $6. Florida caps at $10. Remote online notarization is capped at $25 per signature in all four states. Travel and service fees are billed separately and disclosed in advance.
Do I really need an apostille?
If your document is being used in a country that signed the Hague Apostille Convention — including most of Europe, Latin America, and parts of Asia — yes. Common examples: marriage certificates for foreign weddings, powers of attorney, corporate documents, school transcripts, and international adoption paperwork.
How fast is a Nevada apostille?
Nevada offers three tiers: standard (5–10 business days), 24-hour, and 4-hour. We handle notarization, document prep, and courier to Carson City so your file moves the moment the office opens.
What documents can't be notarized remotely?
A few documents still require in-person notarization in certain states — most notably wills, certain real estate instruments, and some immigration filings. We'll tell you upfront if yours falls in that category and arrange a mobile visit instead.
How do I pay?
